Is It Time For Anger Management?

The Internet May Provide An Answer This Issue.

As the Executive Secretary of The American Association of Anger Management Providers, I can say without reservations that our Certified Anger Management Facilitators (CAMF) nationwide are reporting a dramatic increase in requests for emotional intelligence coaching, classes and consultation.
  • School Districts are reporting an increase in bullying especially against Muslims, Hispanics and African American students. School Counselors are unable to effectively respond to this increase in requests for help from school administrators and teachers.
  • Mental Health Centers and Private Psychotherapists are receiving an increase in referrals for anxiety, depression and sucicidal ideation.
  • Human Resource Managers are struggling to determine how to respond to increased absenteeism and use of sick day usage.
  • Employee Assistance Professionals are attempting to offer crisces counseling and critical incident debriefing to employees both individually and in small groups.
  • Hospital Emotional Room Doctors are seeing clients who are presenting with symptoms that are related to extreme stress rather than diagnosable disorders.
Take a look at just a few of the most recent articles on the impact of the election on many supporters of Hiliary Clinton:

Now is the time for Certified Anger Management Facilitators as well as Professional Emotional Intelligence Coaches to make themselves available to assist those who are experiencing pain in relation to this national crises.
