Marketing Tips For Certified Anger Management Facilitators

 

All Mandated Anger Management Classes in California are now virtual

 

The pandemic has made it necessary to change and improve the way mandated services are provided in the U.S. Covid-19 has made face to face interventions for Anger Management, Batterer’s Intervention. Parenting and Substance Abuse treatmentvirtual rather than in-person. These changes have made it difficult for service providers to attempt to offer any of these services without proper training, material, and preparation for evidenced based classes or group interventions.

It is critical now for Judges, Prosecuting Attorneys, Public Defenders, Probation, Parole and Correctional staff nationwide to hold providers of these programs to high standards rather than “check-ins. All these stakeholders may benefit from using their influence and authority to demand quality services for all mandated clients whose future may depend on incorporating Emotional Intelligence such as self-awareness, self-control, motivation, communication, and relationship management.

I have had the honor of serving as the Official Los Angeles County Vendor for Anger Management since 1997. My Vendor ID is 51963101. {This is not a paid position.) In this role, it has been my responsibility to maintain an up-to-date Los Angeles County Provider List that include providers who have completed 40 hours of Facilitator Certification that includes Pre and Post Emotional Intelligence Assessments along with client workbooks and other ancillary training material.

All the stake holders mentioned above are asked to support the programs on the approved California provider list and hold the defendants responsible Many/most of the programs on our 2020 Approved Provider List in Los Angeles County have closed because of the pandemic and therefore support of these programs is necessary for the protection of the public as well as the defendants.
